  • 10 years vs 2 years Green Card.

In need of as much feedback as I can get. Here is the issue.
Today I received an approval notice letter for I-485 adjustment of status. The form stipules that I was issue a conditional Green Card ( 2 years) However, My second year marriage anniversary is August 16, 2016. During the interview immigration officer told me that if approved I would be issued a 10 year GC (because my marriage would be 2 years in 11 days).

Any advice what I should do please ( anything suggestion is welcome).

You don't even have your Green Card yet and you are questioning its status (2-year or 10-year). Wait until you have the Green Card, and if it is a 2-year Green Card, submit form I-90 to USCIS to request a corrected 10-year card. My assessment, however, is that since your anniversary date is after your card approval, you are only entitled to a 2-year card.
