hi this is my first time on a immigration forum or anything regarding that. i have a few questions i am a permanent resident i got married to my wife on the 19th she is legally here from canada on b2 visa it expires the 25th how would we go about getting her to be able to stay do i file i-130 and i-485 together or separate. i am so confused people say file hem together and other say no one person from uscis said yes another no. anyone know what the best way to do this is she is about to expire and neither me or her want to be separated at all.

As a visitor to the US, she is not currently eligible for an immigrant visa while married to an LPR petitioner. You can file the I-130 and she returns to her home country while awaiting her visa to become available in about a couple of years. She can interview at the US embassy in her country of residence. -
so i cant submit i485 and i130 together as a permanent resident?Comment

if i become a us citizen through naturalization which i have been trying to do but my job has made it difficult "trucking" can i then do it even if she has overstayed?Comment
