Hello everyone,
In 2004 i got my GC, in 2008 i left US and never came back. In 2015 I tried to get it back by Returning Resident, but it was denied. Today I had a shot and tried non-immigrant visa (I'm from Poland) yet it was denied since my mom applied again for GC for me - the lady in the ambassy said it's a dual intent situation and wished me a nice day. Well, i have nothing else just to wait for me priority date to come up, I have my receipt number on @ and info that my case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS California Service Center for processing.
1. It will take 7 long years. In this period of time a lot of things can happen - Do I need to adjust my status if I get married?
2. Doesn't that mean that my priority date will move to another queue (married sons and daughters of US citizens) ?
3. What if I will get pregnant? Can my child then go with me?
4. Can it be possible that previous denial of returning resident can cause problems to obtain my second GC?
5. If my future husband will be sponsored GC based on employer, can I obtain H EAD visa without canceling my family sponsorship?
6. And the last one that I can't get my head around - Why f1(sons and daughters of US citizens) takes significantly more time than f2a (sons and daughters of GC holders)? For that reason my mom should never apply for US citizenship and stay a GC holder and apply for me - it takes only 2 years to process. For me it doesn't make sense - maybe I'm incorrect?
I'm fed up and mad at the system and myself.
Any help or a good word will be appreciated. Thank you all for reading this!
