    Green Card through marriage to US Citizen - change of status

    Hi.

    I'm currently in the US on L1 status (working for company A) and looking to marry a US citizen.

    Can someone please a) outline the process and b) if I leave the employer of my L1, at what point would I be eligible to work for a new company (company B).

    Can I work for company B while I am changing status?
