  • USCIS Atlanta - Timing Greencard (I-130, I-485, and I-765)

Is there anybody processing Greencard in Atlanta? Please leave your comments.

I am waiting for my process to be done, but since I am too excited I guess that is why it is taking too long.

This is how my process is so far:
    08/04/16 - I sent all documents to USCIS-IL.
08/08/16 - USCIS received the documents.
    08/16/16 - Checks were deposited to USCIS. *[I-485 $1,070.00=($985.00 application/petition fee)+($85.00 biometrics fee)] *[I-130 $420.00=($420.00 application/petition fee)]
    08/16/16 - I received 3 Texts messages from Form G-1145 (E-notification of application/petition acceptance) with a MSD# for each of Form I-130, I-485, and I-765.
08/16/16 - I create a login at uscis.gov to check my process by using the MSD# since I didn't have an Alien# at that time.
08/22/16 - Received 3 Forms I-797C (Notice of Action) for each of Form I-130, I-485, and I-765. I also got an Alien number. (Each I-797C form was just stating that USCIS received my documents.)

Now I just have to wait. Moreover, I am pretty positive that this week I will receive something about my process since I have been receiving a new information each week. Let's keep fingers crossed.

If anybody wants to talk about, please leave a message. :-)

I just checked USCIS for processing times.
Also how did you recieve your Alien #? I always thought that was put on a Green Card?
As I understand the chart, I-485 applications are being processing from 12/29/2015, so any petitions have begun processing up tp this date, unless you have an earlier Priority date? Check 797c for your priority date.

      Thank you Adrian.
The USCIS Alien# comes on the I-797C. It is below "notice date" and up from "page". The Alien# starts with a "A" and it is followed by numbers.

My priority date is 08/08/2016, so does it means that I have to wait more 8 months to have my forms processed?

Hello aubie, processing times for ATL are dec. 29 2015, that means all applications submitted/ and or Priority Dated before that date are being processed.
I'm in the same boat here in Orlando.

          Update

          11/14 biometrics
11/15 update for EAD. They are making my card.

Yay! Finally after 99 days. Just because I called them and asked to talk with "tier 2 office".

Now, I am waiting for the interview.
