Question about income on I-864 form

Hi everyone, i'm starting my greencard process, i married an us citizen, ill be filling the i130 an i485 forms, but i have a question about the affidavit of support. My wife doesnt make enough income and we will need a co-sponsor, but im self-employed and fill taxes with a 1099, could i use my income to add up with hers?

Does anyone crossed with similar scenario?

Beneficiary

The petioner (the one flling the I 130) needs to show sufficient income or as you mentioned get a co-sponsor. The co-sponsor can be any person EXCEPT the beneficiary (the person who the I 130 is
being filed for). The primary reason for this
is that the I 864 is to make sure that the beneficiary will have sufficient financial support as needed. Because God forbid, the beneficiary is in a situation where they need to get welfare from the government etc then the person or persons on the I 864 can step in. The government will nevrr provide welfare etc to the beneficiary in this case. This is just one example of many scenarios.
