Hello,
My Sister is US citizen and she applied for our Moms Green Card around a year back. But during this period, she
left her job and went to school. So she had no good income during that period. Although, she completed her school,
she hasn't been able to find a job. So the thing is - she can't sponsor her with her income.
I am her elder brother and also live in US and have a Green Card. So how do I help with this? My income meets the criteria for this.
I did some research and found about some forms that I can fill, but there are so many of them, that I am not sure which one applies in this scenario.
I also read it somewhere that USCIS will cancel the application if no action is taken within a year.
1. Is this true and
2. Is there a way to overcome this situation. Coz it's almost a year now since we applied for it.
Also, is it possible to apply for her GC through me using this previous application and priority dates and all ?
