USA Green card through family based and Canada PR , can both go hand in hand?

I don't think there should be any problem in that. We applied for Canadian PR when my F3 application was in process. We are now Canadian citizens, updated our status to NVC once we received the welcome letter. We have already submitted our documents and paid fees for F3 visa. Didn't have any issue so far. I believe the challenging part will be to maintain PR status of two countries as both has a minimum residence period within a certain number of years before one can apply for citizenship. Please understand that it's not a legal advice and there can be a way out which I'm not aware of.
