Green card for my mother question while I am a housewife and husband is employed

Hello Everyone,

I have a question. My husband and I are US citizens. We want to my mother to come over and stay with us. We would be supporting her while she is here. Now my question is, since I am a house wife (Unemployed) and my husband is working and is able to support her, will this effect for the process to deny my mother's application? Please be noted my mother is 60 years old.

AFAIK as long as your husband signs the i864a it should be fine.
