Travel to US while Green Card is in process

I am a US citizen and I applied for Green card for my parents 2 months ago. My parents are in India and I was planning to have them to go to the US Consulate in India for the processing of their application. But my father passed away suddenly. My mother is lonely, heart-broken and very sad due to her loss. I want to bring her to US because of her situation. Is there anyway to bring her to US while her green card application is in process? Thanks in advance for your response.

If she has visitors visa, she can visit.

Otherwise, she would have to apply for visitors visa which would be very difficult because you have now filed for her green card.
