Entry to US from Canada after getting visa from Bangladesh (IR5 - Family Category)

Hello,

My mother recently had her interview for family based immigration (my sister applied for her; IR5 category) in Bangladesh and got her visa and package. She also has visitor visa to Canada and I am wondering if she can visit Canada first and then enter US or will that pose a problem? If anyone can answer this or has experienced something similar please let me know.
