So, I sent in my package for I-864 (supporting documents, etc), and sent certain parts I was told would be OKAY to send from the financial evidence of myself and my joint-sponsor, the customer service rep. (several) said NVC would contact me if they needed anything more. Turns out they did, they needed ALL of the parts of the financial evidence (I know, I should have anyways, but bank information was on there like account #, which I crossed out... you never know!!). However, the email they sent me told me they will not schedule an interview until' all requested documents are sent, but on the SAME email.... they told my joint-sponsor not to send the files to NVC, but instead to send them to me to carry to the interview. For me, I want to just send in the files anyways - better safe than sorry, right? But all over they said not to send the files to NVC.... very confusing.... but wait, there's more.
** My Main Concern... **
While we were working on the paperwork, my wife was charged with "Fraudulently obtaining food and beverage", and it was dealt with non-judicially and she was simply sent a warning letter. Now, the documents like court records, police certificate and all that - they told us there would be none, so I did not send any files and instead of marking "Not Available" and providing a letter, I put "Not Applicable" without a letter of explanation... I want to send the files now (because turns out they are available...) but I do not know how to do this... Should I send all of that and an explanation when sending the documents they requested? Should I just instead wait until' the interview and explain everything? On the DS-260 I of course marked "yes" for the being arrested and all that, I did not explain this but instead a short brief of the charge (as I did above). How will this affect us...?? I do not want them to see it as false-information or something, and I know the visa officer has a short time with us.
I really hope someone can help me out, thank you....!!
