Most guaranteed way?

Hello,

I hope you guys can guide me a little from your experienced. Here's my situation...
I recently got a divorced from my first marriage, soon to be finalized within a couple of month.
I've been with my girlfriend, who is living in Thailand, for 2 years now. Once this divorced is finalized I would like to get her to the US.
My question would be, what is the most guaranteed way to get her here? I think if I were to start off with the visa, it might get denied and make the process longer.
I'm a US Citizen, should I just go over there and marry her and then do the I-130 form to get her here? Any suggestion?
Lawyers are expensive, I want to avoid going that route if possible. But I will take any help I can get.

Use the K1 fiancee visa option. Time frame, from submittal of paperwork to her Embassy interview, will be around six months.
