Question about NVC process submitting financial & civil documents (consular process)
Hello,
I am currently filing a petition to bring my mother to the US. the i130 was already approved and I am in the process of collecting my financial documents for consular processing. On the NVC website, it is stated that the financial documents of the petitioner and the supporting civil documents of the beneficiary must be sent in ONE package.
That would be hard to do considering that I am residing in the US and my mother is currently living in her home country in Asia. Can I submit my financial documents along with the i864 in one package and my mother submit her supporting civil documents in a separate package?
Also, it was stated on the NVC website that at the time of the interview, my mother will need to bring the i864 form, will it be ok if she were to bring a copy of that form rather than the original?
