  • How to get green card thru marriage

I'm getting married to a natural born american citizen. I came to the states with tourist visa but this expired a little bit more than a year ago. I would appreciate if you guys can help me thru the process and give me some advices, for example I'm filling the g 365a and I don't know if I should say where I've been working for the last year or I shouldn't say that I've being working. I'd really appreciate a step by step explanation

    Thanks in advance

You may want to read this website carefully. Most of information you needed is already discussed.
If you can find others cover pages for their applications you will get some general idea what applications you need to fill out.

Even though your case does'nt sound complicated, you might want to talk to experienced person who knows immigration law very well.
I did not hire a lawyer but I asked professional for help to make sure but it was not expensive as hiring a lawyer.

Be honest about your work. Illegal work is forgiven on marriage based applications. You never want to lie as they have ways of finding out. The fact that you have been working is no big deal unless you falsely claimed to be a citizen on an I9 for example or if you used someone else's SSN. They it becomes identity theft. In that case, you should get a good lawyer.
