How long does it take AFTER Visa category becomes Current?

Hello
Hoping someone can advise- All our paperwork has been with the NVC approx 3/4 months ago and all seems in order...we are now simply waiting for our Approval date to become current.
We are UK based.

can someone advise how long it roughly takes AFTER the priority date becomes current for us to then get interview/greencard etc

we are F3 category- my priority date is April 15th 2005- so i k now i still have to wait- but just wanting to know that when our PD finally becomes current- what is the wait time then- we are in the UK

Right now , it looks like the currently working on 22au05 . Are you sure your priority date is apr05? If so you should definitely write the NVC .

Thanks again for your reply- maybe, this is where i am getting confused...
basically- about 6 months ago- received letter from NVC and we then completed the online forms, paid all fees and sent all required docs to NVC-- this was approx 4 months ago.... since then i just assumed that we do nothing more until we are called?? maybe i am wrong?

because of such long waits and to help me planning- i was just hoping to find out how long after our priority date becomes current would we still have to wait..

Or- should something ave happened already - i do appreciate that my Priority date is not yet current

No , your priority date is current . All you have to do is wait for the interview or you can just cantact the NVC to see what's going on .

Thank you again---- i had no idea!!! i thought i had to wait until my PD of April 15th became current- I will contact NVC immediately- thanks again for clarification this for me

Your PD is not current, for the F3 category they are now working on PD up to Feb 15 2005... The date Venson mention is not the final action date but the filing date which alert you of when you should start paying fees and submitting documents...
