RFE review time....!! pleass help...

On october 15 I sent required documents to USCIS.They received it on 20 october.It is almost now 27 days but no response from USCIS.
What is the normal processing time?
Are they doing any background check of the documents?

USCIS doesn't normally send hardcopy mailed responses for RFE response documents. Use the receipt number to check the USCIS status page at: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do where USCIS usually leaves a message confirming receipt of RFE responses.

I check it everyday.
It shows that response to RFE was received..

I have another question - My mother applied for me and come back to my country because my father(70 years old) is ill. If she goes after 10 months of her departure then will she lose her green card?
Is it affecting my case??

Need help badly.... please answere my question....

Mom can stay out of the U.S. up to a year without loss of her Green Card.

RFE response by USCIS taking too long time is that mean there is possibility to get denied?
Are they doing any background check or inspection?

The waiting time after an RFE response is submitted depends on your visa type. Most RFE resonses do not get a confirmation from USCIS until the petition is approved.
