I864 issue please help!

Hi all, I'm a single mom of a child born in the us and I just got married to my husband (not the child's father) who is us ciyizen. We are working on my green card application now and when filing form I864 and I864A ( we need to use both of our income) D we need to send forms for my daughter as well? My understanding is that since she was born in the us, she is NOT 'immigrating' with me, therefore I don't need to file these forms for her- just need to ensure that our household income meets the requirement (above 125% of poverty line) when including her in our household.
Am I understanding correctly, or I do need to send copies for my daughter as my dependent as well? Please suggest, thanks in advance!

Thank you newacct for the reply. So what we gonna file is just: I864 by my husband (petitioner/ sponsor), AND I864A by me (beneficiary / primary immigrant) since we need to use my income as well. is that correct?

You don't need to fill out I-864A and he can still use your income because you are the intending immigrant. Just provide both of you's proof of current income.
