How i know the status of my green card ?

Dear friends ,
Please I need help here.
I entered US on IR1 VISA in August 2016. Paid the immigration fees of $165 in April 2016, and received the confirmation email for the payment.
When I check the status of my case using my Receipt Number SRC --------- It is showing an old update " Was Sent To The Department of State "
Is there any other number to use in order to check the updates for the GC other than the Receipt number ?
I heard there is a number called IOE number, but I cant find anywhere!!
The petitioner was my wife, we were together outside US when she petitioned for me, admitted together to US, and haven't changed the address sent to the USCIS.
Kindly help me because I an extremely confused.

Your case is being processed through "Southern Regional Center" Out of Texas. SRC and your numbers is your case number.

If you came through a Point of Entry and were legally inspected you will receive your green card by mail. If you carried a valid passport you may have already received your I-551 Permanent Resident stamp in your passport?
