Hi,
My USC daughter has submitted an I-130 petition a week ago, on my behalf, to the Chicago Lockbox facility.
While doing so, she had obtained a USPS Money Order in favor of "United States Citizenship and Immigration Services" (fully spelled out) instead of "U.S. Department of Homeland Security" as suggested in the I-130 Form instructions.
Although there is still time for the 30-day wait time to find out (the petition is still at lockbox since there has been no acknowledgement of receipt of application), I was wondering if anyone can share their recent experience of whether this is acceptable or runs the risk of application being rejected.
NCSC (on a phone call) is unable to confirm one way or another.
Is it possible to take any proactive steps to prevent the risk of rejection (if any).
Thanks in advance.
