Is it better to get married in the US or overseas?

Hi, I'm planning to get married to a Green Card holder. I'm currently living outside USA. Is it better we get married in the US or abroad? I have already US tourist visa on my passport, I can travel to US and get married but I want to return to my country and wait for F2A from my country. I have heard this can take 2 years.

(1) Is it OK if I marry in the US while on tourist visa and then return to my country?

(2) After getting married in the US, should my petitioner file form I-130 while im still in the US or he should wait until I have returned to my country?

(3) Will my tourist visa be still valid after getting married and applying for immigrant visa? Because my tourist visa is valid for 6 more years. It will be great if I can visit him sometimes while I'll be waiting for visa availability.
