Status after EAD

I am a greencard holder and wife is on F1 in US. we applied in the F2A visa category and we have got our EAD and AP still waiting for GC.

If my wife wants to start working on EAD will she lose F1 status? Can she work and study at the same time ? If she can work and study at the same time what status will she be in school.

Please help.

Since she was able to apply for EAD and AP, she must have a pending I-485. Yes, if she works off campus using the EAD that will end her F1 status, after which she will have no status. As she has a pending I-485 she can stay in the US (and study if she wants) regardless of whether she has status.
