  • Tips To File For My Mom..

    Good evening All,

Please I am so confused as to how to go about applying for my mom for green card. I have different situations here, my mom traveled to UK to visit with my brother and have over stayed her visa since the past six years, but prior to that she had applied for a visiting visa to come to the US but was refused on three occasions. Since she doesn't have her STAY there in England if everything goes well, where would she go for her interview? Would she go to her home country for the interview?
Finally being that she was denied in the past, is there a possibility that her application for green card may be turned down?

    Thank you all so much..

Well visit visa and Immigrant visa are two different things. So even though visit visas were denied you still can apply and able to get an immigrant visa, upon proving the relationship and fulfilling all other requirements.

I am NOT sure about interview part but normally its applicant responsibility to make arrangements to attend visa interview regardless where you request it. So I guess you can request visa interview in UK and hopefully it will be OK.

        Items for Green Card.

        Good day everyone...

Please could anyone clarify these three items listed out to me by an Attorney towards my mother's Green Card application. I was told that I will need to pay for I-130 fee, NVC fee, and VISA/CONSULATE fee.
Although, a friend had mentioned to me that she did everything by herself and does not remember what she paid for since it's been a while. However, She does not remember paying the other two fees except for the I-130. Is it a straight forward process that an individual could handle? I am graduating from school this semester and I don't have that luxury of paying $2000.00 which is what he is asking for. Is there a one form fits all type of application that can satisfy everything pertaining to the Green Card journey? Please help me out with information/s. Thank you!
