Green Card Renewal

Hello Everyone

For renewing Green Card you are supposed to fill I-90 form along with the appropriate fee ($540). \

what supporting documents are required for green card renewal? are we supposed to include copies of passport, travel documents etc.?

2. I read online somewhere that I have send ORIGINAL GREEN CARD not the copy of green card. Is that true.

2. It depends on your reason for applying. Look under the I-90 instructions under your specific reason for applying. If you are applying because it is expiring, then a copy of your green card is needed. Some reasons for applying, e.g. error on the card, need the actual card to be sent.

I really appreciate your fast response and most importantly clearing my doubts. I did check the I-90 instructions and in my case since green card will be expiring soon and I will have to renew it, I will only have to provide copy of my old green card as you have mentioned.
