09/20 Did my Biometrics
09/23 Received RFE for 2ndary proof of Birth (So sent my Birth Certificate on 10/06)
10/07 Confirmed USCIS received REF response, (BC proof)
Awaiting Decision.............

11/18 Got EAD Combo Card
01/17 Interview Scheduled , Office said my case got approved.
but card will be mailed within 6weeks, Which is terrible, but didn't react just smiled and said I'm in no hurry!!

So you went to the interview and when you were there officer said that your case is approved?

Happened to me too. At my interview I was told by the office that he is going to "recommend that my application be approved". I did not get a YAY or NAY on the spot. I later found out that this was because of the sheer volume of applications. About a week later, I received a confirmation/welcome letter indicating that It WAS approved.

Sounds like everything went well at the interview? I don't think there would be any issues. Look for a welcome letter to arrive soon. That will serve as proof till the card shows up.

We just had interview yesterday 1/18 and the officer did not really say we are approved, he said he will continue the case. He gave us paper indicating case is held for review (on that it notes not to contact for status until 120 days). However, this morning my case status was updated and it now says New Card Is Being Produced. How is your status looking right now? My office was Los Angeles, where did you do the interview?
