I am a US citizen and want to apply gor GC for my mother. Neither she nor I have birth certificate. What can I do to prove mother-son relationship?
I do have my Indian Passport (cancelled as I acquired US citizenship) and it does have my mother's name on it. Can it be used as evidence to show mother son relationship?
Also, is it mandatory to get the birth certificate non-availability document or just affidavits are enough in lieu of birth certificate?
