Hi fellows, i have applied for my mother immigration while she is visiting me on a visitor visa and i have applied 1-130 and 1-485 concurrently and received the case number
which i am checking almost every day at the USCIS status check website.
the status of my mother Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview
As of December 5, 2016, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC........, for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
since DEC 05, 2016 the above status is same and haven't changed and we have received no letter as well the question i have is her official visa entry is valid till Mar 22nd, 2017 and i am wondering if she will not get the interview letter before her entry expire, can she stay here legally with respect to above status?
if she leaves US then i am sure they will not allow her to enter again as i have applied for her immigration
please provide some help as i am getting really worried about her status and want to know what are the next steps
