Approval under Category F2B

Hello Friends,

Last year I got approval under category F2B(Permanent resident filing for unmarried child above 21).

I wont be able to apply for change of staus or consular processing for atleast 7-8 years.

Although am on H1 and am unmarried, will I loose this family based approval if I marry now? or will it be valid since it got approved before I get married?

My parents will also apply for their citizenship in 2007.

Please suggest.

if you got married you won't be eligible for the f2b petition any more but if your parents are US citizen you can get married without losing any benefits but it would result of more waiting time since your preference would be F3 and it seems that it is going much slower that f2b with about four years more.
