Just became a naturalized citizen. Want to apply GC for parents in India. The don't have intent to move immediately in next 2-3 years. But my sis will turn 21. Idea is to apply GC for parents and as soon as they get it they apply for my sis.
Question is, once they get GC, generally are people able to come once a year for a month and still maintain GC. Rules from what I have read is GC can be revoked if you don't intend to stay in US. What have been experiences of people.
I keep hearing that people do it (visit and go back while maintain GC) for many years without physically relocating to US. Will appreciate any perspective people can provide.
