  • FORM I-130, question #22

I am filling form I-130 for my wife and I'm not sure what to fill for Question#22.
She is in Germany and will stay there until she get am immigrant visa. Because my wife is not in the USA, she is not eligible for adjustment of status.
The second part of the question #22 says:" If your relative is not eligible for adjustment of status , he or she will apply for a visa abroad at American consular post in:"

My question is: Do I have to print where she will apply for a VISA? If not, do I have to send some other form?

    Thank you in advance!

Yes the form is confusing for qt 22.
Use the left 2 boxes if she is already in USA.

Use right 2 boxes if not in USA, to indicate city and country where she will apply for consular processing. The city on the right side refers to the city where the nearest consular post is located.
