I am a Canadian citizen. I married my American wife about 19 years ago and currently live in Canada with 3 children (One child has dual, never filed for the others yet). We spend about 5 months a year visiting our US family. My wife has her landed immigrate card for Canada. We have been playing with the idea of possibly spending more time in the USA due to aging family members. BUT if we do this, I would need to get some kind of paperwork as I am limited to 180 days now. I also would want the ability to work down here too. What would our best option be if we did not move down permanently at this current time? We are more thinking longterm for when parents get older if we need to live an extended time in either place helping out.
Thanks!
