Does someone read raise act which plans to eliminate family based green card?

I'm in the f1 category and still need to wait 4 years or more for priority date. So I have some questions about this bill since I'm not familiar with congress process.
1. How long will it take to pass and validate this bill.
2. Will it impact on the people who already sent petition but not i864?
I checked several forums but nobody discuss the influence on people who is in the process, most people just debate whether it's good.

Hi, Im FB-1 too,been waiting for 4,3 years and accordin to all the info I could find still have to wait for 2.7more. Really scared what is going to happen with us if RAISE act will go throgh. My Mom called to a lawyer and set an appointment to clear things out but he will talk to her only next week. Plus that flick with processing dates. Stress and anxioness is all over.

I don't know whether lawyer can give you enough information because this act is in the initial stage that only shows little details and may be changed in the later stages. I think the results will depend on the congress and it's hard to say right now.
