Hello everyone
I have a question I am hoping you will be able to answer. My wife (US Citizen) and I (UK Citizen) are looking to get myself a green card and emigrate to United States. We have been married for 2 years. I was wondering, for the financial requirement I notice that there is an annual income that either my wife or a joint sponsor(my father-in-law) must earn in order to sponsor me. But, I have roughly $78,000 in savings and was wondering if that can be considered enough to support myself rather than relying on my wife to meet the minimum salary needed. For example, I know if I were to sponsor my wife in coming to the UK on a visa, I know my savings would be enough to support her in coming over, I would just like to know if that is also the case if I want to permanently move to United States. Or if my savings can also be used with my joint sponsors income?
If you need any more information from me, please do not hesitate to ask
