Most Important Document for I-130 and I-485 for Green Card
Hey,
What are the most important Documents for I-130 and I-485 to support family-based Green Card married to US citizen ?
Sirkay all documentation you send is most important!
Here is what you need for your I-130 (You are the beneficiary, and your USC family member is the petitioner)
Proof of Petitioner’s Status as U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Birth Certificate (if born in U.S.)
Naturalization Certificate or Certificate of Citizenship;
Passport (U.S.); or
Permanent Resident Card (front and back)
If you don’t have any of the above, contact us for other options.
Proof of Family Relationship with Spouse
Marriage Certificate (with translation, if needed);
All Prior Marriage Certificates and Divorce Decrees (with translation, if needed);
Passport-style photo* of Petitioner and one of Spouse, taken within 30 days of date of petition (see additional instructions below); and
Completed Form G-325A for Petitioner and another for Spouse;
Evidence of Bona Fide Marriage
Documents showing joint ownership of property;
Real estate, automobiles, appliances, furniture
Lease showing joint tenancy of residence;
Bank statements showing co-mingling of finances;
Birth certificate(s) of child(ren) born to Petitioner and Spouse;
Affidavits by people who have personal knowledge of genuine marriage;

If possible, provide other relevant documents to further prove an ongoing marriage:
Joint credit card account
Joint savings account
Health insurance policies held jointly as husband and wife
Automobile insurance policies held jointly as husband and wife
Life insurance policies with spouse as beneficiary
Utility bills with both names on bill
Will
Correspondence to both of you at the same address from friends and family
Comment
