  • What else am I missing? Petition for spouse. Help! I-130

Hi, I'm about to petition for my wife who's in Bangladesh. I have the following done so far.

    I-130
    I-130A (From my spouse)
G-325A (Both from her and myself)
    I-864
    Copy of my naturalization cert.
    Copy of my passport
    Copy of our marriage license
    Copy of her birth cert
    Copy of my birth cert
Three years of my tax transcripts
    Photographs of marriage
    $535 check

Is there anything I'm missing, and do I send everything in single mail?
Is I-485 need to be filed right away?
I've heard G-325A isn't needed anymore. Is it true, and if it is, do both of us need to file I-130A?
    Any help is much appreciated.

What happens if you do NOT have tax transcripts? Is it must?

This would be in case for a guy who was NOT in US for 3 years, got married and would have to file I130 for his spouse.

    Please advise!

You don't need G-325As since you are using the new edition of I-130. I-130A is filled out by the beneficiary.
You don't need her birth certificate. You don't need I-864 or tax transcripts. That comes later.
You don't need your birth certificate.
You need two photos of you. It seems you don't need photos of her as the instructions say in parentheses "(if he or she is in the United States)"; but it's unclear.
Try to include more evidence of bona fide marriage like joint accounts and other evidence of intermingling of finances.
She cannot file I-485 as she is not in the US.

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.

        Hello

I also submitted my husbands I130 the other day, when we filled them out back in Feb new forms were not available just the ones from Dec 2016, also when u look at the new forms now its says it will be accepted as of april,2017 So you will need the G325 both of u!!!! What i send was 130,G325, my passport, his passport, marriage certifiacte, birth certificates, Some pictures from the wedding, our love story, $535 also everything was translated. So Double check for the new forms since it does say it will be accepted as of april 2017!!!! Goodluck
