    Conditional green card expiry

    Hi, I have a marriage based conditional green card now. It's been more than 2 yrs since we are married, but my conditional GC doesn't expire for another year as I have applied late for conditional GC. Am I eligible to apply for I-751 (removal of conditions) for permanent GC now since it's more than 2 years now or should I wait for 90 days before my conditional green card expires?

    I saw in some forum that I can apply for permanent green card after our second anniversary irrespective of expiry date on conditional green card. Is that true?

    No, you are not eligible to apply for Removal of Conditions jointly until 90 days before the 2-year card's expiration.
