  • I 485 n I693

    Hi I am planning for concurrent filling for I 130 n I 485.
While going through I 485, it mentions to file I 693 medical examination form.
How does I 693 works ? -- means I need to take a doctors appointment n get labs done ?
My parents are on visitors visa. They don't have health insurance. How much these people charge ? N how long it usually takes ?

    Thanks in advance.

The form must be filled out by a designated civil surgeons. Call all the authorized providers in the area, I found that their prices vary very widely. Some rely on doing stuff that costs needless money, like lung xrays instead of cheaper tuberculosis tests, and providing all the required vaccines instead of relying on my own medical records. For me, the most reasonable and inexpensive provider was located in a distinctly immigrant part of the city

Thanks, I wanted to submit application but seems it may take longer now with all this things going on.
