Hi everyone,
My adoptive parents adopted me before I was 16 and everything went as prescribed (I am a US citizen). I have an older brother who got adopted by the same adoptive parents after he became 18 years old. Both of us (my brother and I), were raised by my adoptive parents (we have proof and everything), but given the circumstances, they couldn't adopt him before his 18th birthday. Therefore, he has no status in the US. My brother is my natural brother and now we are again full brothers under the law. Is there any basis for me to petition him as my brother?
