Part 1. Relationship (You are the Petitioner. Your
relative is the Beneficiary)
I 130 part 1 question 2 is as following.
If you are filing this petition for your child or parent,
select the box that describes your relationship (Select only
one box):
1) Child was born to parents who were married to each
other at the time of the child's birth
2) Stepchild/Stepparent
3) Child was born to parents who were not married to
each other at the time of the child's birth
4) Child was adopted (not an Orphan or Hague
Convention adoptee)
My problem is -- I am the petitioner and filling for my parents. but none of the answer matches my situation. Neither my dad nor mom is a stepparent. they are biological parents. N I am not filing for child.
However, I got confused with option 1, are they considering me child n wants me to click option 1? because when I was born my parents were married. Or I should just leave this blank? I was opting for leaving it blank.
