My wife got her CR1 Visa approved last week. The immigration officer told her to pay the Green Card fee online before she leaves for USA. I got her Alien No. and Case ID yesterday.
I went to the website "www.uscis.gov/uscis-elis" to pay her fee.
I just happened to notice something on her Visa Stamp. On her passport her complete name is mentioned under "GIVEN NAME" and her "SURNAME" is empty.
however on the Visa Stamp her complete name has been moved under "SURNAME" and under "GIVEN NAME" they have put "FNU" which stands for "first name unknown".
I am wondering how her name will be displayed on the Green Card.......Any ideas????
So should I pay the fee online fee for Green Card this time?
Is there a way to notify USCIS regarding this name change or should i wait till the Green Card arrives and change the name later on?
