bona fide marriage, address abroad

I am a US citizen considering a marriage (in good faith), and would like to start the green card process with my partner. However, the nature of my work requires me to be outside of the US a lot - for long periods of time. That being said, he would be inside of the US at all times. Is there a way that we can demonstrate that the marriage is bona fide even if we do not live in the same place at all times or if I have an address other than our US address?
