Help mailing documents to NVC (Green card for Parent)

Hello there,


Is it recommended to number documents pages and note case number on top right corner before mailing complete package to the NVC?

Has anybody done this in order to prevent documents loss and better tracking system.

Please advise.

Hello, just make sure follow all the step at this website https://travel.state.gov/contenthttp..._pay_fees.html. And make sure double check everything before you mail it. Im on the same category IR5 petition for my parents. They send me a checklist because I missed one the pages, right now Im just waiting for them to update me with the case status. Case number

Yes, when I sent in my documents I placed the NVC case number on the top right corner of every document. As for documents that were issued by the government and I did not feel comfortable writing on, I wrote it on the back of the document. The primary reason for this is that just in case your documents get separted, they will be able to route it back to your file. This is merely a recommendation and by not means an critical issue and it will NOT impact the processing of your paperwork in any way.
