Hi. I recently obtain my USC (2 weeks ago). I am currently working on the paperwork to sponsor my parents' immigration.
I have been having some difficulty following the process. Many of the resources I have been using were either outdated, or did not specify a few things that is causing some confusion.
To clarify, before I list my questions/concerns: my parents currently reside in their home country, and will remain there during the processing time.
1) In filing I-130, do I need to include passport sized photographs? Or is this only a requirement for sponsoring of a spouse?
2) Who files the G-325A document? Would it be me (the petitioner) or my parent (the beneficiary)?
3) Do I file my I-864 alongside the I-130? And in doing so, provide my paystubs/tax returns?
I am trying to gather as much information as possible, and really do appreciate any help and advice given.
At this moment, my thought process involves filing I-130, with a copy of my Naturalization Certificate, filing fee, Birth Certificate. I am unsure if I need to file my parents' Birth and Marriage certificates. Can I file both I-130's in one envelope, with a check for their respective fees?
Again, thanks!
