  • How long does concurrent filing take?

If you filed all the papers concurrently and received your EAD, how long does it take until the interview? (1) or How long does the whole process take from the date of filing (2).

From filing I-485, I-765, and I-131 to receiving the EAD/AP takes around 3-4 months. From filing to when I-485 is approved varies a lot; anything from a few months to more than a year.

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.

At which point do you get the SSN. (Going to need it for a driver's license).

When you receive your EAD you can apply for a SSN and a State ID / Drivers License. Your initial SSN card will be marked with information stating it is only valid for employment with authorization (which the EAD serves as) and once you get your green card you will be able to get a new SSN card that has no restrictions on it (the SSN itself will remain unchanged).
