Hi all, hoping to find some clarification.
My wife was recently naturalized and is going to start the process of applying to bring her 21 year old son over from the Philippines. So where we seem to be confused is this:
If we file the I-130 (I assume we cannot do a concurrent 485 due to his age) and it gets approved, can the 485 be immediatly be filled out and sent to the Chicago lockbox or does that have to wait till he is issued the visa (which seems to be around a 10 year wait?)?
Appreciate any insight that can be provided.
