  • Married daughter of green card holder

Hello, I understand that as a green card holder I can petition my married daughter and her husband and child, and that process takes around 7 years. She is an MD graduated in Venezuela, she wants to apply for a residency program here, after having passed all tests necessary, can she do that after being petitioned by me? Thanks.

No. Permanent residents cannot petition married children. Only citizens can petition married children.

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.
