I am hoping someone will be able to guide me with my situation.
So basically my mother who is an American Citizen filed I-130, Petition for Alien Relative back in 2010.
At that time I was un-married. Since then I moved to the UK and I am now a British Citizen.
I also got married 2 years back. Last October I received a letter from NVC that my immigrant visa petition has been received and now I need to file the DS 260 so they can schedule a visa interview with The US Embassy in London.
I have contacted NVC to update them that my status has changed and was told to send them a letter with the status change and requesting them to change my category but till date have not received any update on what to do next? I have not yet received any confirmation. Every time I call NVC they tell me to wait for a couple of weeks and call back. I have been calling them regularly since December 2016 but with no result at all.
Can anyone advise me on what should I do now?
