Hi All,
I need help regarding filing the green card for my mother. She is currently here in US for past 3 months. I have been told that I would need an affadavit by her relative due to the absence of birth certificate. My questions:
1) Does she also need a non-availability certificate for birth certificate?
2) Does the affidavit needs to be signed by 3 people? or is One person signing it is enough?
3) My father is not alive. Do I need her marriage certificate and any proof of marriage?
My neighbor has filed for his parents 5 years ago and he told me about these documents today. I went through the I-130 form and I couldn't find a place where it said I need all these certificates. Am I missing reading something? This is our first time (first in the family) and I feel like I'm lost.
Can you please help? Is there a single place/file that I can get the link to which states all the required documents correctly?
