  • Question for CSPA

Is there any chance if we can submit all documents correctly and CSPA age is also bellow 21 when we got invoice number for one of my child but consular officers decides that he/she will not give visa to us? I mean if a child/ derivative beneficiary aged out when visa become available. but his/her age is under 21 according to CSPA when we got welcome letter from NVC and they automatically updated his name and invoice number , how much chance he has for getting his/her visa? Is there any limitation for CSPA allowed visa numbers? Or if consular officer reject to apply CSPA, what can do the child parents?

    Thanks in Advance....

If the person is eligible under CSPA, I don't see why they would not allow it.

      I really appreciate your help..!!!

To summarize, when NVC started processing the application the child is underage according to CSPA, paid IV fees and files DS forms but when Visa becomes available, which usually takes 6-8 month once they start processing, the child will be over 21 according CSPA calculator. What are the chances of the child for getting visa?
