Filed I130 for my Mom in India in Dec 2016
Received Approval Notice I797 - July 24th 2017

The notice says " NVC will contact the benefeciary directly of the petetion with further information about immigrant visa process"

Question 1: How long does it take for my mom to receive further action notice in India ?
Question2 : Can she still travel to USA on her existing visitor visa with no intent to stay longer?

No response yet. I am wondering if my om can visit US and apply for AOS instead of Counseller processing in India which takes for ever. ANy idea ?

2. Yes, she can use her existing visitors visa to visit.
